i’ve been snapping away a lot more the last few days…

My roses are blooming. They’re so beautiful.

Both my doggies, in one picture, looking at the camera..! i had to say “cookie” and deal with the barky aftermath, but it was worth it.

Pooterdog Thorn.

i love this picture of Ein.

We kicked dinner’s ass.

Garrett’s guitar

My beautiful flowers..
Yeah, i’m not doing so good at this “picture a day” thing. But there HAS been a lot going on lately. And really, besides Kristina occasionally, no one reads this… so in essence, i’m talking to myself. Woo!
i am behind schedule. Last Monday i was home by 11:45. Today it’s 12:45, and i’m still in Alachua. At this rate i may as well stay another day. To be honest i’m not even sure he thought i was leaving today in the first place. i don’t really want to leave, and so far today i’ve been prolonging leaving - doing dishes, cleaning up, taking my damn time drinking coffee and doing my normal morning things… But.. i have work to do at home. And i miss my critters. Methinks i’ll bring Ein up here with me one weekend hehe.
i have pictures, at least, and they will be posted in a few hours.
While Bridging through my digital photos, i came across a directory of pictures from an old cameraphone. Lots of critters. Enjoy.

Pugtastic.

Such a cute lil baby Husky.. with a fondness for shoes.

Surprise surprise, another puppy. Me and a wee lil Golden Retriever.

BABY FERRESEALS! (That’s “ferret-weasels.”)

This one i had to lighten up quite a bit, and it’s still kind of odd-looking. That’s a duck we “met” at Chili’s on the patio. He likes tortilla chips.

MY SET IS COMPLETE.
The past three times i’ve been up at Garrett’s, i’ve taken to buying these goofy little animals that come out of a capsule machine at the local grocery store. i had the original idea to work my way towards a full set… key words being “gradually work my way towards”. But, after a TON of stupid pigs, i got fed up, and sat in front of that damn machine these weekend until i had one of each of the five. i ended up with 1 monkey, 2 penguins, 5ish cows, 5ish elephants, and a seemingly endless number of damn pigs. At one point Garrett started putting quarters in the machine himself, though i think that was probably just to speed the process up. Tee hee.
I WIN. Take that, stupid Hitchcock’s capsule machine!

There are buffalo in Florida indeed, at least two locations. These buffalo live right off of i-75 - not the nicest location, but… Apparently there are also a few wild buffalo living in Paynes Prairie Preserve, which is just south of Gainesville. i’ve only been there once and that was at night, though i’ve driven by it several times on i-75 over the years. Methinks a day trip is in order one of the weekends i’m in Beautiful Historic Alachua.

The coolest camouflage pattern ever. Hooray jammies.

i never knew what the unlabeled brown sauce was… i knew i liked it, though. So, i asked the waitress… Apparently it’s hoisin sauce, or plum sauce. i’d always heard of it, i’d seen it in recipes, but never got around to trying anything that called for it. Now i have another reason to make a trip to the Asian market this week - hoisin sauce is GOOD.

Priss, wearing her cone. She had surgery recently, and licked her wound to the point where it got infected.. thus the cone. She’s not too pleased with life, as you can tell by the charging of her eye lasers.
